On 4 June 2026, the Deputy PM signed Decision 982/QĐ-TTg approving the program to take Vietnamese digital-tech firms global by 2030, vision 2045 — opening major room for innovation infrastructure like Times Zones.
As global tech supply chains restructure under AI, cloud and semiconductors, the program targets digital-tech firms mastering core technologies and integrating deeply into global value chains.
By 2045: Vietnam becomes a developed digital-tech industrial nation with at least 10 world-class firms — shifting from 'participant' to 'creator'.
Prioritize export-capable Make-in-Vietnam R&D; mobilize funds; the 'Triple-Helix' model; Sandbox for FinTech, AI, IoT; international IP protection.
Multilingual brand identity & comms playbook; a national digital pavilion on global marketplaces; Digital Tech Enterprise Forums in strategic markets.
Select ≥5 lead firms to drive the ecosystem; digital-economy linkages; tax & capital incentives; vouchers for startups and SMEs going global.
Times Zones runs on three pillars — directly intersecting the program's goals locally: connect – incubate – promote.
Workspace & residence, a physical community for digital-tech firms in HCMC and Da Nang.
Incubation, R&D, product standardization, the 'Triple-Helix' model, Sandbox & vouchers — directly serving the SMEs the program wants to take global.
Member–project–finance portals connecting funds, partners, forums & M&A deals in the spirit of the program.
